Dear Parents and Students:

We are happy to provide you with our updated calendar for the rest of the school year 2008.  As you can see we have many activities coming up that involve all students.

An Awards Ceremony will be scheduled at the end of February.  More information to follow.

Please take special note that ISAT testing will start the week of March 3rd.  If possible, schedule any doctor, dentist or other appointments outside of the school day.  Also, prepare your students by making sure they get plenty of rest and eat a good breakfast before coming to school.  Students will be more alert and feel better about taking the tests.

Spring Break follows at the end of March starting, Friday March 21st through Friday, March 28th.

On Friday, May 16th our 7th graders will take the annual day long trip to Springfield.  This is always a full day of sights and activities and much enjoyed by staff and students alike.  Earlier in the month on Wednesday, May 7th many of our 8th graders will travel by bus to Washington D.C. returning early morning Sunday, May 11th.

8th grade promotion is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4th.  Watch for more details of this event.
