The Women in Leadership

The purpose of the Women in Leadership program at Waukegan High School is to build confidence, vision, and motivation. This newly formed group will gain knowledge through job shadowing, presentations, and by leadership development opportunities.

Meet: Wednesdays from 3:30pm - 4:30pm in the Hewitt Center

The Women in Leadership group at Hewitt Associates in Lincolnshire hosted a job shadow for the WHS Women in Leadership group. The students had an opportunity to learn networking and success strategies in a corporate environment.

"Women in Leadership 2005"

The Waukegan High School Women in Leadership group attended a "Building Our Future" conference at College of Lake County on Friday, February 25, 2005.  The purpose of the program was to introduce female students into careers in technology.  Other high schools that participated include Zion, Vernon Hills, North Chicago, Grant, and St. Martin de Porres.
