ART II

Course Description

Students will establish a greater understanding in the language of art.  This class is designed for the student to become more familiar with the varied media.  Students will gain higher order critical problem solving skills and more in-depth critical analysis of the language of art. There will also be more emphasis in the areas of aesthetics, processes and the history of art.  Building on what is learned in Art I, students will explore a more concise variety of: aesthetic judgements; new, as well as traditional technologies; humanistic / cultural analogies.
