Waukegan teachers or other certified staff are eligible to work as a homebound tutor.  The teachers must have a valid teaching certificate on file at Lincoln Center.  The rate per hour will be established by district-negotiated contract.

If you are interested in serving as a homebound tutor, an application needs to be completed and returned to Julie Pasqua, Homebound Tutoring Coordinator at the AOEC/Stephens Center (1020 Glen Rock).  Blank applications can be picked up at the Stephens Center Main Office.  They are not available online.

All prospective tutors should refer to the Homebound Tutoring Handbook (also available in the Homebound Tutoring Guidelines link), which carefully outlines the policies to be followed by tutors, teachers, nursing staff, and students.
