YOUTH BUILD

The Youth Build program is located in North Chicago (3001 Green Bay Rd, Bldg. 1, 3rd Floor).  It is not a district program, but the AOEC refers students to the program that don't meet the requirements to enroll at any of the district's alternative programs.  Youth Build is a program for young adults, ages 17-24 who want to work toward a GED.  There is job training and possible job placement available in the area of construction.  Minimal pay is available to participants that attend classes daily.  For further information on the Youth Build program, contact Germain Castellanos at (847) 473-3483.
