Youth Conservation Corp - YCC

Located in Waukegan (221 Genesee St.) next door to the Genesee Theater.  It is not a district program, but the AOEC refers students to the program that don't meet the requirements to enroll at any of the district's alternative programs.  YCC is geared toward students ages 17-24 that lack sufficient credits and are seeking a GED.  It is a not-for-profit agency that provides young adults a chance to turn their lives around.  YCC assists students in completing their education, learning the necessary skills to become gainfully employed and building a hopeful future for themselves and their families.  Minimal pay is also available to students based on their daily attendance.  Further information on the YCC program, contact Bob McCammon at (847) 623-0900.
