Springfield

For the past three years, Jack Benny Middle School seventh grade students have been able to enjoy a three day trip to our state's capital, Springfield, IL. Students look forward to this trip all year. The trip is especially meaningful and memorable because students experience first hand what they learn in school during the year about how state government functions. In addition to an excellent academic learning experience, the Springfield trip provides students a valuable opportunity to grow socially as they connect in positive ways with teachers, peers, and real world professionals, ex. hotel and wait staff...
