    John Clark School History

John Clark School and Center for Continental Studies

John S. Clark School opened it's doors in 1963. The school is located at a scenic site adjacent to Clark Park and Glen Flora Country Club. Lyons Forest Preserve is located across from the school. Our school was named after a former Waukegan elementary school superintendent John S. Clark, who served for twenty seven years from 1918-1945.

Clark School is known for a commitment to educational excellence, a fine staff and active Parent Teacher Organization. Teachers and parents work together to plan activities which motivate academic achievement, good citizenship and respect for all students' muliticultural heritage. The Clark School atheletic team proudly wear the school colors of blue and gold. School spirit is outstanding.
