Special Education Services
Parent Infant Education (PIE) provides services to families with infants and toddlers from birth to age 3 residing within Waukegan District 60 boundaries. Families can participate in the following activities:
- parent child interaction activities which focus on each child's social, language, cognitive, and physical development.
- parenting workshops and family social activities.
- Developmental screenings for infants and toddlers are available through the PIE program. PIE assists families in transitioning children with developmental delays and/or disabilities from Early Intervention services to school district services at age 3.
