Dear Parents/Guardians:

In an effort to curb excessive tardiness and dress code violations, we will be implementing a series of policy adjustments until further notice. Beginning on Monday, November 17, 2008 we will begin lock-out sessions. If a child is late to class, they will not be allowed to enter until they have been documented and given a pass by the hall sweep team. Any child that receives two lock-outs in one day will be given an automatic detention. Any child that receives ten lock-outs by December 12, 2008 will not be allowed to participate in any spirit week activities, even if they have purchased ticket packets. Also, beginning Monday, any child not following our dress code policy will be subject to an automatic detention. Your child is aware of the dress code policy, we have went over it several times. Our policy is also found on our school website. The detentions will be served after school or on Saturdays. Please stress with your child the importance of following school rules to avoid the inconvenience of detentions.
