Parent Night
On Tuesday, January 15, at 6:00pm, the Bilingual team along with our community partner, NICASA, hosted a Parenting Seminar at Miguel Juarez Middle School. Approximately 75 parents attended the seminar. The guest speakers from NICASA were Ms. Emperatriz Guerra and Mr. Jorge Soto. The parents filled out surveys and asked more for seminars, that will be held monthly at East Middle School. After the seminar, parents, teachers, and community members shared delicious food and pastries brought by the students and parents. During this social gathering,Dr. Watkins and teachers addressed various issues regarding the referendum and voter registration.
