Teen Read Week

We are Celebrating Teen Read Week!
3rd week of October

Monday-- Students can sign a chart saying, they like to read. One will be located outside the LMC and the other chart will be located by the elevator on the second floor. We will see how many students like to read at Juarez Middle School

Tuesday-- Students make bookmarks in Communications classes. (We will provide the bookmarks). Students will decorate a bookmark on their favorite book. Name and Teacher must be on the back of the bookmark. Send bookmarks to the LMC to be judged by the Reading Committee. We will select the most "creative book marks" Click to see our winners of our Bookmark Design Contest

Wednesday-- Students can sign up in their communication classes to stay after school from 1:45pm-3:00pm. We will serve refreshments. The students need to bring a book to the LMC to participate. They must have signed up before in their Communiccations Class. We will read, eat and then see a video on a favorite book. Students need to provide their own transportation. Check out the pictures below from October 2006.
