Black History Museum

It was Ms McGee's desire for the Miguel Juarez Middle School family to continue Dr. Carter G. Woodson's movement of Black History Month. To celebrate Black History Month with pride and appreciation, and to understand the contributions and sacrifices that African Americans hae played in the history of this great country. We would like to share this celebration with our Waukegan District 60 family and the Waukegan community. Each year the museum's goal is to showcase different aspects of the Black American Culture.
