Miguel Juarez Middle School is on a mission to beautify our grounds. Some of our staff has dedicated many hours to help make our grounds more pleasing to the eye
Front Garden
Our front entrance garden is designed, developed and maintained by Mr. Truby, one of our 6th grade Science teacher. He decided to plant certain plants and flowers that are indigenous to Illinois. This gives an opportunity for our students to learn about identifying, the life process, and maintaining these plants.

Courtyard
Our Courtyard that is an outside area between our building was designed, developed and maintained by our Learn and Serve Faculty Group. They were given some grant money to help make our courtyard area an option for ouside learning. Many hours were and are being put in to complete the project. The Community Service Club has also been involved in helping.
