School Supply List

Little Fort Mathematics Academy does participate in the National School Lunch Program. Families who feel they are entitled to a free or reduced lunch should fill out an application (carefully and entirely). Applications will be sent home on August 30, 2005. Application must be returned to the Assistant Principal. All applications will then be approved or denied according to federal guidelines. At the beginning of the year, free and reduced lunch applications from the prior year may be used for the first 30 operating days of the school year for the students listed on the application. New students and those who were not on free or reduced lunch last year must bring in or pay for a lunch until the lunch application has been processed.

Busing Procedure
Students will line up for their buses on the far west parking lot.

Please note: Only children assigned to a specific bus may ride on that bus. Also all children mush have their bus pass to ride their school bus.

Bus Regulations
Riding the bus is a privilege. Improper conduct on the bus will result in bus privileges being revoked. When riding privileges are revoked, Illinois State Law still requires students to attend school regularly. Parents are responsible for the transportation of the child to school. If the child does not attend school during a period of bus suspension, the truant officer will be contacted; most importantly children lose precious learning experiences.

Overcrowding
Please be aware that there is the possibility of your child being send to another school due to overcrowding.

If overcrowding occurs, the following steps are utilized to decide on student priority:

  • Returned mail-in registration forms with few payment by designated due date
  • Date and time of registration
  • Language levels for Bilingual students

All disciplinary situations will be administered with dignity and professionalism. See Discipline Web Page for more information.

If your child fights or continually disrupts the learning environment he/she will be suspended from school. In addition to suspension, parent conference, social work and/or behavior interventions may be utilized as methods to re mediate the child's inappropriate behavior.
