Oakdale
School held its annual Snow Ball dance on Friday, January 26, 2007. The
dance was held in the evening for students in grades 1-3 and their
parents. The gymnasium was decorated by our 1-3 grade students in a
winter theme. Students, parents and teachers danced the night away
under a glowing disco ball. Ms. Vega, Oakdale's school principal, acted
as DJ for the event and some excellent moves were spotted on the disco
floor under the direction of Mrs. Nudelman. Each grade level had a
"spotlight" dance where they took center stage on the dance floor and
showed off their great dance moves. Even the teachers had their own
spotlight dance. Mr. and Mrs. Keister and Ms. Swett coordinated the
snack bar. Assistant principal, Mrs. Wright, took Polaroids of our
dancing families. A great time was had by all!
