Instead of a traditional Halloween parade with costumes, Oakdale School has held Tales and Treats for the past several years. Teachers and students are encouraged to participate in our assembly with stories and poems and songs. This year we heard some scary music and songs, listened to a spooky story and watched some frightening plays. Afterwards, students returned to their classrooms and were treated with pretzels and apple cider.
