Third grade students presented the fourth annual patriotic program on
October 13, 2005. In attendance were many of our wonderful
firefighters, police officers, and past and present members of the
armed services; to whom our program is dedicated. Students gave a
wonderful program entitled "Proud to Be American". Students took this
opportunity to give our first donation to the New Orleans police and
fire department. A check was given to the local officers and
firefighters in attendance. In the first quarter of this school year we
have raised over $2,000 to donate to the relief fund for New Orleans
police and firefighters. Students who performed enjoyed showing their
patriotism and gratitude to those who serve and protect us!
