Oakdale Elementary celebrated our Hispanic Heritage Month last October 20, with a very special program. The theme of our program this year was Children's Poetry by Hispanic Poets. The children performed a variety of songs, dances, and poems. To close our fanciful program, one of our teachers, Ms. Mojarro from Spain, delighted our audience with a popular Flamenco Dance "Sevillana" from Spain. She wore a beautiful outfit designed by her Mom back in Spain, just for this occasion. There were many parents among the audience and they were very pleased and proud to see their children performing so well in this special event.
