with just 75 kids...to date S.T.A.R.S. has served over 1,500 kids in

is an extended day program that provides elementary, middle and (newly funded) high school
students with a wonderful opportunity to increase their academic
achievement, while at the same time build social skills in a fun and
innovative way. The program consists of a 10 month program that and has
a series of 6 week sessions. Participants meet immediately after school Monday through Friday at
elementary sites. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for Middle
Schools. Monday, Wednesday and Friday for our high school. Students are provided a nutritious snack and mandatory academic
assistance. In addition, enrichment activities are offered in the
following areas: Performing Arts, Dance, Martial Arts, Cooking, Fitness, Fine Arts and
recreational activities.&amp;nbsp; Participants are provided door-to-door transportation home expect for our high school participants. The
