If you are looking for PreK-6 Internet Resources then you have come to the right place. We have compiled a list of great resources and sorted them by subject area. A lot of these resources were suggestions from Education World's "Best of" series, plus resources found throughout the web.     • Classical Archives is a comprehensive collection of classical music that features more than 18,800 digital files and represents more than 1,300 composers. There is a subscription area, but the site is mostly free.
  • Impressionism
    • Impressionism: Paintings collected by European Museums explores the major themes of the painting technique and offers lesson plans and classroom resources for the 1-8 teacher.
  • Exploratorium
    • The Exploratorium is an online extension of the real museum of art, science and human perception located in San Francisco. It includes over 12,000 Web pages, including video and audio files on a wide variety of topics.
  • Chinese Tangrams
    • Create your own tangrams using drag and drop shapes. You may view a gallery of samples or just create on your own!
  • Xylophone
    • Play the xylophone. Record and re-play your music!
  • Interactive Color Page
    • Choose an image to color. Choose your own background and frame.
  • Art Express
    • Hartcourt School Publishers Art units by grade level. Some of these units include mixing colors, making masks, still life, architecture, mosaics and many more.
  • Fine Art Online
    • Hartcourt School Publishers art unit on the Fine Arts. Topics in this unit include Fiber Art, Sculpture, Graphics Arts, Painting and Art Puzzles.
  • Toy Theater

  • Hokusa
    • He was a painter and a wood engraver who was born in Edo (now Tokyo). He created over 30,000 works of art, many were pictures of everyday art. Play this game to make your own art with pieces of Hokusa's work.
