Lunch Information

CAFETERIA USAGE
STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO:

1. Remain in the cafeteria during the assigned lunch period.
2. Display their ID card as they enter the cafeteria.
3. Line up for service and refrain from shoving or moving ahead of others in line.
4. Follow the directions of cafeteria and security personnel and display common courtesy.
5. Respect cafeteria equipment and the rights of others.
   1. Do not save seats or sections for friends or latecomers.
   2. Return all trays, silverware, and dishes to the proper area.
   3. Dispose of all refuse, such as paper, milk cartons, etc., in the proper receptacle.
   4. Avoid general misbehavior, such as loud talk, throwing food, etc
   5. Follow all established school rules.
6. Accept disciplinary actions that result from misbehavior in the cafeteria. Misbehavior may result in the loss of the privilege of using the cafeteria for a period of time or permanently.
7. No food may be taken from the cafeteria. No food or beverages are to be consumed outside of the cafeteria.

Waukegan High School has a closed campus policy. Seniors may earn the right to leave campus during their assigned lunch period through the honor card program or extenuating circumstances.

CAFETERIA SERVICES

Free or Reduced Cost Lunch Program
A federally sponsored free or reduced cost lunch program is available for those who qualify. Information regarding this program is distributed at the beginning of the year and is available in the School Store. All forms are to be turned in to the school by September 30, 2004 or your son/daughter will be charged for lunch. For uninterrupted lunch services, your lunch application must be turned in prior to September 30th.
